June 21, 2003:
I am still
employed with the State of
Georgia, Department of Juvenile
Justice as a Senior
Probation/Parole Specialist III
in Bainbridge, GA. I have been
married to Beverly for 25 years
and we have three children. Our
two youngest are teachers and
have their Masters Degrees and
our oldest is a Sgt. with the
Regional Detention Center for
the Department of Juvenile
Justice. We have two grandsons
and a third on the way. I am
still the Mayor of my small town
of Climax, serving my 3rd
four year term. I am looking
forward to this reunion because
it will be our 40th.
May 12, 2008:
I am now retired. After 19
years with Juvenile Justice, 18
years with the police
department, and 12 1/2 years as
Mayor, my health finally gave
out. I have three grand
children that keep us busy when
I am able. I was really looking
forward to this reunion, but my
health will not allow me to
come. I hope every one has a
good time, and if you're ever
around Tallahassee, Florida,
come north about 40 miles and
visit me in Climax, Ga.

June 21, 2003:
Our lives have
changed in the last 5 years. We
sold our business and for the
first time in over 30 years, I
went to work for someone other
than myself. I am a medical
courier for MPL, and we cater
weddings on the weekend for Cara
Hills Estate in Eads. We also
moved after 38 years in one
house. We had our first
grandchild, a boy named Davis.
I didn’t know grandchildren
could be so wonderful. Being
“Papa” is super!
June 18, 2007:
Ray and I still enjoy each others company and laughter is a
big part of our marriage.
We adore our two grandchildren
(both boys) and are looking
forward to retirement in a
couple of years and then do some
traveling. ~ Susan

June 21, 2003:
I lived in
Nashville, TN (Mt. Juliet) for
30 years where I raised my
children as a single parent. My
sons, Paul and Patrick Turner,
live in Memphis and have five
children between them. I spent
a year in Hawaii where I studied
Biblical Counseling at the
University of the Nations (age
40). I also spent a year in
Lake Lure, NC. I returned to
Memphis in ’98 during my
mother’s illness and death,
moving to Branson, MO August
1999. I live at a golf resort
and work as a loan verification
officer for a large resort
developer. My hobbies are
photography (love photographing
Branson shows) and song
writing. I worked in the
recording industry in Nashville
for 30 years doing vocal
background session work and have
done same since moving to
Branson. I have recorded six
albums of music that I have
written and have an agent in
Branson who books me for
seminars and concerts when I can
get away from work.
I changed my name several
years ago due to an
autobiography I am finishing
titled True Confessions of a
Single Mom. The title
probably indicates why I changed
my name! No publisher yet, I’m
working on a happy ending!
Although I will probably
stay in Branson the rest of my
life, my Missouri license tag
says, “TN LADY.” I will never
forget my roots or my classmates
at KHS.
September 3, 2007:
After
living in Nashville, TN for over
thirty years, I moved to Memphis
in 1998 to caretake my mother
until her passing. I went from
there to Branson, Missouri for
seven years and I have recently
relocated to Western North
Carolina, in the Blue Ridge
Mountains, near Asheville in a
resort town called Lake Lure.
I am the youngest of six
siblings and I have only my
older sister left, who is living
in Bristol, TN. I moved to be
near her. It is a blessing!
I enjoyed being the pianist for a resort in the area last
year and this year I am
traveling with a Christian group
as well as doing solo tours.
As most of you remember, music
has always been my passion and
it is delightful to spend my
semi-retirement years very
involved in performing and
ministering. I also teach for
seminars and retreats. You can
check out my website at
www.wholelifeprecepts.org
or
www.wholelifeprecepts.com.
I have two sons who live in the
Memphis area and five
grandchildren, at last count! I
am looking forward to the
reunion since I was unable to
attend the last one! I love
Kingsbury and I love all of
you. There are NO friends like
OLD friends! No pun intended!

I am truly
blessed. I still have my
first and only wife, Sally. I
have both of my daughters living
on both sides of me in their
lovely homes. I am also blessed
to have 3 grandchildren: Maria,
9; Christian, 8; and Dakota, 13
months. We live on a seven-acre
estate in Bentonville, Arkansas
(the home of Wal-Mart). I also
own a Century 21 Real Estate
office in beautiful Bella Vista,
Arkansas. We love to travel to
places in the Caribbean and go
to Branson, Missouri annually
with our family.
My oldest daughter, Stacy
(now 31 years old) is married to
Joe Falcon. Joe was an 11 time
All-American at the University
of Arkansas from 1984 to 1989.
He still holds the U. S. record
for the fastest time in the mile
run at 3 minutes, 47 seconds.
Joe and Stacy are our area
directors for Fellowship of
Christian Athletes in Northwest
Arkansas. My
youngest daughter, Amy, is now
27 years old and is approaching
her first marriage to a young
man she has been dating for six
years. Amy works at Ozark
Guidance Center in Springdale,
Arkansas with abused children.
I’m very proud of both of my
daughters, and Sally and myself
are very close to our family as
you can tell. We are active
Christians serving our Lord in

June 21, 2003:
We
bought a farm (43 acres) and
moved to Pocahontas, TN in
1994. We just moved in May to a
larger house with only 12 acres
in the same area. We love the
peace and quiet here, although
the drive to Memphis is long.
The CPA firm I was with for
29 years, closed in 1997. I
have been working at Southern
Leather in Memphis since
December 1997.
May 30, 2008
I have been unable to work since
September 2003 due to health
problems. Jerry has been
disabled since 1986.
We have two sons, Jerry Wayne, and Robert. Our youngest
son, Robert, has presented us
with 2 grandchildren since our
2003 reunion. Andrew
Wallace was born 5/25/05 and
Katherine Desiree was born
8/4/06. They have been
such a joy for us. Jerry
and I will celebrate our 44th
anniversary in August. We
are still enjoying the peace and
quiet of our farm. Jerry
is raising cows, chickens, and
geese. He also plants a
garden every year.
It is great seeing so many 1963 KHS grads have participated
in the monthly luncheon and/or
dinner. It's hard to
believe we have been meeting
since February 2006. I
especially want to thank Donna
Cox for hosting our 2006 and
2007 Christmas dinners; also to
Shirley Holcomb for all the
emailing she has done and all
the times she has had us in her
home.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Jerry and I are
retired. He suffered two
strokes in May 2000. He is now
handicapped and disabled. I
retired to care for him.
We are having a home built in Hardeman County and will
be moved before the reunion. We
are looking forward to living in
the country. We want our
grandchildren to have a nice
place to come and visit with
Mimi and Papa. I hope I’ll be
able to complete my book of
poetry and have it published.
We have seven grandchildren
and one due in May. Tonyi
has a stepson, Matt, 16, and a
daughter, Sarah, 4. Lori has
three daughters, Katelyn, 9;
Madison, 6; and Michaela, 3.
Brady has two sons, Cameron, 11
and Dalton, 9. Their daughter,
Alyssa, is due in May.
We don’t travel as much as
we did since Jerry suffered his
two strokes. We did get to go
to the Bahamas just before his
strokes.
It will be nice to see
everyone again and relive a lot
of memories.

After 28 years of
Air Force “travel” and five
years in Texas, we’ve returned
to the Mid-South for
retirement. We’re building our
dream home at Harmony Ranch, 14
miles east of Como. We enjoy
country living and are able to
assist our parents in their
later years. Although we
thought we’d raise cattle, our
interests have turned to
farming.
July 21, 2007:
After forty years of marriage, Floyd and I still like each
other. Our tree farm now has
pine trees standing about 5 ft.
tall. Our forester says they'll
be ready to thin around 2019 and
harvest around 2030! Our
daughter, Meredith, a mortgage
coordinator in Atlanta, is
married and the mother of our
fabulous, first grandson, Reid.
Dale, our son, is a cop in
Southaven. I enjoy writing,
genealogy, treasure hunting and
our trips to Atlanta. One of
the blessings of retirement is
having time to reconnect with
friends and classmates. Thanks
for all the fond memories.

After graduating from CBC, I left Memphis to work in the engineering department at Reynolds Aluminum Co. Two years later, I lucked out in the draft lottery and joined the Air Force where I served 8 1/2 years as a pilot. I met (and married) JoAnne in Sacramento while in the Air Force. I returned to Memphis in 1980 to work with Fed-Ex and retired in December, 2004 after a 25 year flying career. JoAnne and I are the proud parents of a 25 year old son who is near graduation from college. It's been a long haul but a lovely cruise. I'm glad to be home again near friends and family.

June 21, 2003:
James and I have
been married 37 years, have one
son and two incredible
grandchildren. We both retired
in 2000 and moved to Nesbit,
MS. We live in a little
community called Bridgetown just
east of Nesbit. Our house is on
a lake and we enjoy the peace
and quiet. I even learned to
fish (haven’t gotten the
catching part down yet but I
enjoy the fishing). I retired
from UT Medical Group and stayed
retired for 8 wonderful
months—then went back to the
same job part-time. I only work
three days a week so that gives
me plenty of time for gardening
and taking care of houseplants.
James started his own business
when he retired and loves
working for himself—he can take
off whenever he wants to play
golf. We manage to travel a
couple times a year but for the
most part, we are content living
the country life.
January 1, 2008:
I have finally retired (third time is a charm, so they say)
and this time I plan to stay
retired. I am still married to
the only man who could put up
with me for 42 years. Our
grandchildren are growing up (15
and 12 years old) but they still
like to stay with their
grandparents occasionally. Not
much has changed since the last
reunion - we still live in
Nesbit on the lake and enjoy the
peace and quiet. I still love
gardening even though my body
protests a lot more now. James
and I plan to do a lot more
traveling now that I'm retired
and plan to visit Sandra (Gray)
in Orlando next month. I also
enjoy the monthly Kingsbury
"girls" get together- we have
a great time talking about past
events, current events and of
course class members who
aren't there. Hope to see all
of you at the reunion.

June 21, 2003:
In
1990 my husband transferred to
Orlando, FL where we still
reside. Dusty has since retired
(33 years) from Delta Airlines.
I am still working for Florida
Power Corporation and do not
have the desire to retire at
this time.
Our daughter, Teri Gagliano,
and her family also live in the
Orlando area. Teri and her
husband, Vincent, are the owners
of Chez Vincent Restaurant in
Winter Park, FL. Our son,
Jason, and his wife live in
Chicago, IL (Jason is in real
estate). We are the proud
grandparents, at the present
time, of 4 (Teri’s
children—Taylor Gray, 7;
Alexandra, 4; Durston and
Courtney (twins), 3. Our son,
Jason, will be having his first
child by the time we have this
reunion (due in May 2003). We
spend lots of time with the
grandchildren in Orlando and I
am sure we will be traveling to
Chicago on a regular basis to
spend time with the new arrival.
I am having a hard time
believing 40 years has passed us
by. I hope life has been good
for my classmates as it has been
for Dusty and I, and our
children. We have a lot to be
thankful for and we are.
March 7, 2008:
Not much has changed since
the last reunion. I still
live in the Orlando area and
I still work 2 days a week
(just to keep me out of
trouble). Dusty and I are
the proud grandparents of
four granddaughters, one
grandson and another
grandson on the way. Teri
and her family also live in
the Orlando area and all
three of her girls are
dancers. Dusty and I enjoy
traveling to watch their
dance competitions. Teri's
son, Durston, plays
football, basketball and
baseball so when we aren't
going to dance competitions,
we're going to ball games.
Jason and his family moved
back to Memphis since the
last reunion - they have one
child and another on the
way. I look forward to
seeing all of you in June.

Things have
really changed for me and my
family since the last reunion.
The Lord has truly blessed us.
My partner and I formed an
independent insurance agency 5
years ago. My son, Brian,
graduated from Furman
University, got married,
graduated from UT school of
medicine, has a son, 3; a son,
1; and just blessed us with a
beautiful granddaughter on May
14. He is beginning his 3rd
year of a 5 year radiology
residency in Columbia, MO. My
daughter graduated from UT
Knoxville. She married her high
school and college “good friend”
in 2001. She and her husband
live here in Memphis. I enjoy
hunting and have just taken up
golf. Finally found a game
where I can be the high scorer.
I am looking forward to seeing
everyone at the reunion.
June 27, 2007:
There
have been a few changes in my
life since the last reunion.
Our son has now finished his
training and is finally "working
for a living". He is a
pediatric radiologist in
Columbia, MO. He has blessed us
with 3 grandsons and 2 beautiful
granddaughters. Our daughter is
still in Memphis. She and her
husband blessed us with another
grandson in September, 2006.
Sure is fun having a grandchild
in town. I can't believe I am
old enough to have 6
grandchildren. Seems like just
yesterday we were skipping class
to go to the High Boy. Can't
believe we will be celebrating
our 45th reunion. I really feel
blessed for my high school
memories. Thank each of you for
your part in those wonderful
years.
